ELECTRIC + RAKU KILN-FIRED
Introduced to clay in Wisconsin public schools @ 13, she eventually studied in Warren MacKenzie's Studio Arts program, University of Minnesota/Minneapolis + at Ealing College/London, earning a B.I.S. degree that encompassed all aspects of Communication -- Visual, Verbal, Written, Interpersonal + Intercultural.
A former manager & NYC advertising executive, Kiki also holds a M.A./Management + was most recently VP/Management Director of Foote, Cone & Belding (IPG)/New York City. After managing traditional London Pubs, Kiki launched the Sleep Number Bed campaign in 1997, and pioneered internet & multi-media campaigns for MetLife & American Express.
Relocated in The Hamptons with Chef Ian Scollay, she has largely focused on ceramics, assisting in private + teaching studios, and leading Raku Workshops for local potters. In 2011, Kiki opened her own ceramic studio, with work appearing in local shops, galleries + magazines.
